A Scientific Theory of Genesis
By Samuel J Hunt 1/7/08
I. In the Genesis record every action taken by God to create the
heavens and the earth begins, “And God said…” So we can begin a creation theory
based on two assumptions:
- A) That all matter in the universe can be manipulated by sound
- B) That all matter, as an artifact of creation by the spoken word,
should emit some kind of distinct ‘sound’ or tone.
II. We can define ‘sound’ as.
- A) Any disturbance in any medium caused by a wave that can be detected
by any living creature
- B) Any wave traveling in a longitudinal manner that may be detected
by a receiver
- C) Any Hertzian frequency that by regularly occurring distinct
intervals may be transposed into the range of human hearing.
- D) Any distinct tone emitted by an object as a result of vibratory
motion
III. Any scientific theory of creation based on the Genesis Record
must satisfy these criteria:
- 1) Since Genesis records every act with, “And God said…” then any
cosmological theory of Genesis must show:
- A) That everything in the universe can be described in terms of
the physics of acoustics,
- B) Be able to show that all matter from quantum fluctuations to
the orbits of galactic objects can be manipulated by sound, or at least be able
to show
- C) That all matter can be associated with acoustical phenomena
as an observed artifact/ relic left over from creation, while also
- D) Incorporating a truer and better understanding of the fundamental
forces at work in the universe and their relationship to all observable matter.
- 2) Since Genesis proposes that everything was created in 6 days,
then another requirement for any acceptable scientific theory of creation must adequately
describe
- E) How the starlight from stars/ galaxies that appear to be billions
of years away could only be between 6-11,000 years old. If this can be reproduced
then
- F) A more accurate date for the origin of the creation should be
derived. The timeline for creation must also relate
- G) An adequate hypothesis on how the earth and any/all planetary
phenomena could exist before the Stars/ Suns. And also address
- H) How vegetation could exist before sunlight.
- 3) Seeing how the Genesis record establishes the creation of all
plant, insect, animal, and human kingdoms of biology by “And God Said…”, then any
biological theory derived from Genesis must show:
- I) That all of these kingdoms together, as a consequence of their
hierarchical taxonomy, display an acoustical artifact as a signature of the predetermined
sociological structure left over from Creation; and must
- J) Derive such Biological descriptions from currently held observations
in taxonomy, paleontological evidence (i.e. the fossil record), Mendelian genetics,
and medical science. Any such theory
- K) Should show how acoustical phenomena can effect/affect the growth
and development of all organisms from any level, including but not limited to: chemical,
cellular, tissue, organ, system, organism, population, community, and ecosystem.
- 4) Since Genesis offers a complete record of creation progressing
from a ‘void’ to mankind, including all terrestrial and extra-terrestrial phenomena
(as currently described in scientific literature), then any acceptable scientific
theory of creation:
- L) Must include a mathematical backbone from which all facets of
creation can be integrated and inter-related,
- M) Must be able to be integrated and have some relevancy to branches
of scientific inquiry creating opportunity for further research/ development while
offering a cohesion of factual phenomena as described by those branches; in short,
- N) It must be a framework for a Theory of Everything that is predictive,
internally consistent, and can integrate phenomena explained/ interpreted (whether
correctly/incorrectly) by current, dominant scientific theory.
IV. A complete scientific theory of Genesis will not explain:
- A. The origin, mind, quality, will, purpose, emotion, of the Creator. These are questions left best to Religious studies, personal experience, philosophy, and thought experiments.
- B. An acceptable scientific theory of Creation need only concern itself with the implementation of the natural laws underlying the creation itself, the institution of time and matter, and the observational and reproducible interactions of that creation.
- C. The point of Creation theory to show that God is, is eternal, and created everything as Genesis describes, does not require a prerequisite to determine how he came to be or the derivation of any such scientifically invalid question.
